SCREENPRINTING ON FABRIC

Fancy having a go at screen printing your own designs onto fabric?
Make cushion covers to sew, tote bags, shoe bags, T towels and other small scale printed projects on this new course that explores some of the possibilities of working from home for fun and/or profit.
Hand made products make wonderful gifts for friends and family.
But they can also be the start of a small online business on Etsy or Folksy or Not on the High Street.
This course will show you the basics.
How to make screens using photo stencils. How to make succesful positives by hand and on the computer.
How to utilise the fantastic mark making, graphic possibilities of this most versatile of stencilling processes.
How to print and register colour layers and moreover how to have fun while doing it.
Materials like inks, dyes, computer printouts and photo stencils and some blanks for printing on will be provided and are included in the course fee, with extra blanks available to buy at reasonable rates from our shop.
We also sell screens, squeegees and hinge clamps and offer a photo screen stencil making service should you want to put new designs on
your own screens and carry on printing from home.
Terms and conditions:
Bookings can be transferred or refunded only if we are given 10 days notice.
Occasionally courses may be cancelled if the bookings are not enough
to pay the tutor.
